How it works
 
The magazines are sent out on a standard audio CD in special post-free pouches specified by the Post Office. All the listener has to do when he or she has played the CD is reverse the address label and pop the pouch in the post back to Sain Clwyd Sound. The CD itself is now the property of the listener but can be returned if they wish. Listeners who have missed a months edition can simply request it/them to be sent with their next delivery.

Requesting CDs

 

Any registered blind or visually impaired person living in North Wales can receive Sain Clwyd Sound CDs by requesting that their social worker contact us and we will add them to our distribution list. We regret that we cannot respond other than through a social worker.

Furthermore, if the person does not own a suitable CD player, we will provide one free of charge, though it will remain the property of Sain Clwyd Sound.

The magazine can also be supplied to any local organizations concerned with the visually impaired by contacting the Technical Officer via e-mail or the secretary by telephone on 01824 780346.


 

How we are funded
 
As a registered charity Sain Clwyd Sound relies entirely on donations from local businesses, local organizations and the public via annual flag days and occasional collections at local stores.

We usually acknowledge business or organization donations by printing a sponsorship logo on that month's CD.

The free studio accommodation and free postage on the CDs keep costs down and allow the funds raised to be used mainly for updating equipment and the cost of copying and printing the CDs each month.

Anfonir y cylchgronau sydd ar gasetiau sain C90 allan mewn cydau arbennig o ddewis y Swyddfa Bost nad oes rhaid talu am eu cludo.

Y cyfan sydd rhaid i'r gwrandawyr ei wneud wedi iddo fo/hi wrando ar y tâp yw troi label y cyfeiriad drosodd, rhoi'r tâp yn ôl yn y cwdyn a'i anfon yn ôl at Sain Clwyd Sound.

Os yw ein gwrandawyr yn dymuno, gallant anfon eu sylwadau ar gynnwys y cylchgrawn atom drwy recordio eu sylwadau ar y caset a chlymu darn o lastig o'i gwmpas i ddangos eu bod wedi gwneud hynny cyn ei bostio'n ôl.

 

Gofyn am dapiau

Gall unrhyw berson sydd wedi'i gofrestru'n ddall neu sydd â nam ar y golwg ac yn byw yng Ngogledd Cymru dderbyn tapiau Sain Clwyd Sound trwy ofyn i'w gweithiwr/wraig cymdeithasol gysylltu â ni ar ei ran er mwyn i ni ychwanegu'r enw at ein rhestr ddosbarthu. Ofnwn mai'r unig ffordd y medrwn ymateb i gais yw trwy'r gwasanaeth cymdeithasol.

Os nad ydych yn berchen ar recordydd caset addas gallwn roi benthyg un i chi. Eiddo Sain Clwyd Sound fydd y recordydd a fenthycir.

Yn ychwanegol gellir anfon copi o'r cylchgrawn at unrhyw gymdeithas leol sy'n ymwneud â phobi sydd â nam ar eu golwg ond I chi gysylltu naill ai trwy e bostio'r Swyddog Technegoi neu drwy ffonio'r ysgrifennydd ar 01824 780346.


Sut cawn ein hariannu

Fel elusen gofrestredig mae Sain Clwyd Sound yn hollol ddibynnol ar roddion gan fusnesau lleol, mudiadau lleol a thrwy'r cyhoedd yn cyfrannu ar ein diwrnod fflagiau blynyddol ac ambell dro drwy gynnal casgliad mewn siopau lleol.

Mae'r defnydd rhad ac am ddim a gawn o'r stiwdio recordio a chael postio'r casetiau'n rhad ac am ddim yn cadw'r costau i lawr ac yn caniatau i'r arian a godwn gael ei neilltuo'n bennaf i ddiweddaru offer ac ar ôl 3 blynedd o wasanaeth i brynu casetiau newydd.
